Description
The Mountain Parka is a part of the Deus Ex Machina Made in Japan collection.
We wanted to produce a standard mountain parka, a classic outdoor piece that is very popular in Japan. The fabric has a similar feel to the classic 60/40 fabric but warmer, durable and more flexible. The main material is a polyester fabric laminated with TORAY DELFY with a TORAY KUDOS DWR (durable water repellant) finish.
TORAYDELFY䋢, a non-porous membrane, provides durable water repellency, moisture permeability, and wind protection that is also soft and supple to touch. TORAYDELFY䋢 creates a waterproof barrier that is also highly breathable, keeping you drier from the inside allowing persipiration vapor to escape and disperse through the garment without building up. TORAY KUDOS is a coating added to fabrics at the factory to make them water-resistant (or hydrophobic).
